INTERVAL | Kyotographie 2026

From April 18 to May 3, 2026, the lens-based artist duo Anna Hayat & Slava Pirsky will present their exhibition “Interval” as part of the international Kyotographie Festival in Kyoto, Japan.

About the Concept: “Interval” names a condition where nature remains itself and perception begins. The compositions often follow classical structures—firm horizons and balanced geometries—yet each image holds an interruption: burns, tears, chemical blooms, or fragments of abandoned forms. These elements introduce a space between order and entropy, between intention and material autonomy.

What emerges is an emotional landscape where the absence of people becomes a form of presence, and meaning appears only in the space between the image and the viewer.

Exhibition Details:

  • Dates: April 18 – May 3, 2026

  • Venue: Gallery G-77

  • Address: 73−3 Nakanocho (Ogawadori), Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto, Japan, 604-0086

We look forward to welcoming you there.
